AB2 is a higher-strength aluminium bronze grade, manufactured and supplied for applications where increased hardness, wear resistance and load-bearing capacity are required compared to standard aluminium bronze. It is frequently specified for heavy-duty bushings, worm gears and components subject to higher mechanical stress, and is well regarded within the aluminium bronze family for its combination of toughness and resistance to wear under sustained load. AB2 bar stock is manufactured to customer requirements and supplied for machining into finished parts.
